Real women reveal their breasts and uncover personal truths in The Breast Archives, a gently provocative documentary exploring embodied wisdom, womanhood, and the power of being seen.
Viewers meet nine extraordinary women, ages 33-78, who bare their breasts and hearts, recalling again, a first sense of "self" through the body, and tapping in to precious memories of first intimacies, and courage… nursing babies, surviving breast cancer, lasting influences, and the journey they have made in reclaiming a breast pride.
By revisiting the roots of a woman’s relationship to her breasts, The Breast Archives creates an unprecedented opportunity to engage, empower, and transform women everywhere.

What You Can Expect From A Screening
Keynote Speech
Following an epiphany in the Kings chamber in Egypt, Meagan set out to explore the reservoir of “ancient wisdom” contained at the breast. What followed was an adventurous journey in filmmaking, and a fresh chance to reclaim her own “deformed” breasts as an alchemical sphere for light reception and self-knowing.
Film Screening
The Breast Archives asks, “What happens when women are brave enough to share the unique journeys they have made with their bodies?” We meet nine unforgettable women who boldly re-tell their experiences of first body awareness, and the influence of family, media, religion and culture on their self-worth and development.
Panel + Moderated Q&A
Following the screening, a moderated panel of experts will share insights and take questions from the audience. Topics range from breast health and breast cancer to culturally learned body shame. A reception area will include beverages where guests can mingle and exchange resources and ideas.
"Are you there God? It's me, Margaret.
I just told my mother I want a bra.
Please help me grow God. You know where.
I want to be like everybody else."
